Food Bank Facts

Food bank demand has increased in the UK by 51% over the past five years, a result of high food and energy prices straining household budgets.

Food banks in the Trussell Trust’s network distributed 2.9 million emergency food parcels in UK in the past 12 months – which equates to one parcel every 11 seconds.

Families with children are particularly affected, with 7 in 10 parcels going to households with children.

2025 Writual Collection (HoL x John Sowder)

We have such stationery sets to show you...

In collaboration with featured artist John Sowder, the second set in our HoL-loween Writual series is designed for horror-lovers who are mindful about keeping in touch!

Our luxe greetings card set celebrates our inaugural release, Scared Sacred: Idolatry, Religion and Worship in the Horror Film, by focusing on one of our favourite films covered in the book: Hellraiser!

Set features:

💀 four high-quality black-and-white greetings cards with two designs in stylish greyscale. The first playfully blends the character of Pinhead with Valak from The Conjuring 2 (“Angels to nun, demons to others...”), and the second draws from the book’s illustrated chapters to complete the set (“Malice in Chains”).

♻️ Individually wrapped cards in biobased film made from renewable plant-based material that’s compostable/biodegradable.

✒️ The included acrylic paint pen in metallic gold allows you to personalise the premium matte cardstock and matching black envelopes with stylishly spooky notes.

Send us proof (via DM or info@holpublishing.com) that you've donated at least £3 (or equivalent) to your local food bank and you'll be entered into a draw to win a HoL horror bundle.

Open worldwide (including US) — we'll cover the postage.

We understand not everyone is in a position to donate, so to help us reach as many people as possible, you'll also be in with a chance of winning a wee gift if you share any our of giveaway posts on socials (just make sure we're tagged so we can enter you in the draw)!
